It gives me immense pleasure to welcome you to the Department of Civil Engineering. Our department is committed to developing skilled, ethical, and socially responsible engineers who can contribute effectively to the nation’s infrastructure development and sustainability.

Civil Engineering is one of the oldest and most significant branches of engineering, shaping the physical foundation of modern society. Our department emphasizes a perfect blend of theoretical knowledge and practical exposure through well-equipped laboratories, field visits, industrial training, and project-based learning.

We have a team of dedicated faculty members who continuously strive to impart quality education and mentor students towards innovation and research. The department regularly organizes seminars, workshops, expert lectures, and technical events to enhance the overall learning experience of students.

Our graduates are well-placed in reputed organizations and also pursue higher education at prestigious institutions. We believe in continuous improvement and aim to nurture professionals who can meet global challenges with confidence and competence. I extend my best wishes to all our students for a bright and successful future.

The Department of Civil Engineering, established in 2013 with a intake of 60 students, is dedicated to providing high-quality education and fostering innovation, research, and professionalism in the field of civil and infrastructure engineering. The department’s goals are cantered on developing skilled engineers equipped with strong technical knowledge, analytical thinking, and ethical values to meet the growing demands of the construction and infrastructure sectors. Its core values emphasize integrity, sustainability, teamwork, innovation, and a lifelong commitment to learning and societal development through engineering excellence.

As a crucial component of the institution, the department plays a key role in promoting interdisciplinary learning, research collaborations, and community-driven projects that align with the institution’s vision of contributing to national development. It serves as a hub for academic and practical knowledge, encouraging students to engage in sustainable design, structural innovation, and real- world problem-solving. The department’s continuous pursuit of academic excellence and adherence to quality standards has earned it institutional accreditation and recognition, reflecting its commitment to national benchmarks and its contribution to the institution’s reputation for producing competent and socially responsible civil engineers.
