The IEEE Student Branch at Tulsiramji Gaikwad-Patil College of Engineering Branch Code: STB60233551 & IEEE Student Chapter Computational Intelligent Society TGPCET ST (Chapter Code: STB60233551/CIS-TGPCET-ST2025) were established in 2025.

IEEE Student Branch was inaugurated at Tulsiramji Gaikwad-Patil College of Engineering & Technology (TGPCET) in 2025, enabling students to engage in global technical forums, research, and professional development initiatives.

It helps nurture the new entrants into the industry and makes them cognizant of the latest events and happenings in the technical world. Different speakers are invited at frequent intervals to interact with the members and help them broaden their horizons.

IEEE TGPCET Branch focuses on practical skills, theoretical knowledge as well as overall personality development by conducting various inter-disciplinary meets where students are invited to speak on topics they like. This skill set, that they develop during such sessions, gives them a head-start in their career.

IEEE TGPCET is dedicated to advancing technology for the benefit of humanity. Positioned as an association committed to promoting innovation and technological excellence, it proudly stands as a vital part of the world’s largest technical professional society. Specifically tailored to cater to professionals engaged in electrical, electronic, biomedical, and computing fields, as well as related areas of science and technology crucial to modern civilization, IEEE TGPCET mirrors the global IEEE mission.

In alignment with the early 21st-century achievements of IEEE, our chapter endeavours to serve its members and address their varied interests. This commitment is manifested through our affiliation with specialized Societies, an extensive collection of journals, transactions, and magazines, along with a robust calendar of annual conferences.

To promote excellence in technical education by providing innovative learning opportunities, professional development platforms, and global exposure to students and faculty. The IEEE Student Branch at TGPCET aims to foster technological advancement, encourage research and innovation, and develop highly skilled engineering professionals who can contribute effectively to society, industry, and emerging technologies.

> Encourage technical excellence and promote innovation among students.

> Enhance professional skills through leadership, teamwork, and communication.

> Provide exposure to emerging technologies and global trends.

> Promote networking with industry professionals, researchers, and academicians worldwide.

> Encourage research and publication among undergraduate and postgraduate students.

> Organize workshops, seminars, hackathons, and webinars to enhance learning beyond the classroom.

The IEEE Computational Intelligence Society (CIS) promotes research, innovation, and development in advanced computational models inspired by biological and linguistic processes. The chapter emphasizes machine learning, neural networks, fuzzy systems, evolutionary algorithms, and their real-world applications. This society acts as a global platform for researchers, academicians, and students to collaborate, exchange ideas, publish research, and contribute to the progress of intelligent computing.

Vision

IEEE-TGPCET envisions a future where every learner and educator is empowered to harness the power of technology and engineering innovation to solve real-world challenges, spark creativity, and lead transformative advancements that benefit humanity.

Mission

IEEE-TGPCET is committed to inspiring and equipping students and faculty to explore, innovate, and excel in emerging technologies by providing access to a global engineering community, advanced technical knowledge, and professional development resources. Our mission is to cultivate ethical, skilled, and future-ready engineers who drive meaningful change in society, industry, and research through collaboration, creativity, and lifelong learning

How to Become an IEEE Member

Any individual with an interest in advancing technology, engineering innovation, and professional growth can become a member of IEEE. Students, academicians, researchers, and industry professionals from engineering, technology, computing, and allied fields are eligible. IEEE membership is open to both Indian nationals and foreign nationals who are studying or working in recognized institutions or industries.

Individuals can apply for membership by registering on the official IEEE Membership portal and selecting the appropriate membership category based on their academic or professional status. Membership is renewed annually, and special discounted fees are available for students.

Distribution of Membership Fee
